Cedar Creek Veterinary Clinic announces the offering of laser surgery to the pets in our community. This addition is part of Cedar Creek Veterinary clinic’s investment in advanced technology for veterinary medicine.
Lasers have been used in human medicine for over 30 years, but are just beginning to appear in the veterinary arena as veterinarians and animal lovers learn more about the benefits they provide. |
More and more of our clients are requesting the highest levels of care for their pets. Laser surgery provides us the opportunity to meet the needs of our patients and offer higher levels of medical care possible.
Laser surgery has several benefits over traditional scalpel surgery. These include reduced pain, less bleeding and swelling, and faster recover times. During surgery, the laser beam sterilizes as it cuts, and seals both blood vessels and nerve endings. It is this sealing process that minimizes the bleeding and pain for the animal.
While the laser can be used for most surgical procedures, feline declaws, skin tumor removals, and oral surgery is where the laser proves its superiority over other surgical methods.
Laser surgery is the future of veterinary medicine and we feel our clients deserve to have that option when choosing medical care for their pet. For additional information, contact the staff at Cedar Creek Veterinary Clinic at (260) 627-5859.
