Boarding

Boarding of animals is a service we can provide. You will need to make reservations in advance for that service. In the event that your pet becomes ill, we will provide necessary treatment.

Admittance to Clinic

To keep your pet protected, we ask that all pets be current of their vaccinations. They will be given, if due, to insure the protection from contagious and often fatal disease.

Animals admitted to the clinic and found to have fleas will be treated and the owner charged for the medication.

We welcome your calls about the status of your pet while in the clinic for surgery or treatment. We ask that you call after 9:00 am for a progress report.

Restraint

For the safety of you, your pet, and others in the office, we request that your pet be on a leash or in a pet carrier. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Your Pet at Home

Do not let your pet eat or drink a lot after it returns home from a stay in the clinic. This will help prevent vomiting. Allow small portions of food or water the first day home.

Surgery patients should have limited activity for several days. Some animals will lick their sutures. This must be prevented as it will delay healing. If you have problems with this you will need to contact the office.

Preventative Medicine

In our office we have found that the majority of our sick patients could have been spared their illness through regular preventative health procedures. Along with the knowledge that you are giving your pet adequate care, you will find that the costs for prevention are much less than the costs of treatment. Ask us about planning a preventative health program for your pet.
