We appreciate your
understanding when you may need
the doctor and he is not here.
Emergency Services
The doctor can
be reached after regular office hours by calling the office to get a recorded message and home phone number. Should you be
unable to reach Dr. Smits you are encouraged to call the
NE Indiana Veterinary Emergency Specialty Hospital in
Fort Wayne at (260) 426-1062.
Our webpage on First Aid will give you some information on what you can do at home before you transport your pet to the Emergency Specialty
Hospital. You will also find on this webpage information on poisoning, wounds, bleeding, heat stroke, and other situations.
Fees
Dr. Smits believes you will find our fees very reasonable. Feel free to ask what services are going to cost before
they are performed.
We ask that all fees be paid in full at the time services are completed.
We do accept
cash, check, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa cards for your convenience
Questions
Many times after leaving the office new questions may come to mind.
Call us anytime
you have them. If your pet has had a recent surgery or illness
and you have
suspicion that your pet is not progressing as expected,
please call the office.
